I hope you're right. I would love to see him make it two in a row. Raikkonen is overall a very consistent driver. But same can be said about Fernando, and Lewis is consistent too. He was super consistent last season, but then the last two races didn't go ''too well''.

And I happen to like too much what I do to just drop it, I can't drop it." (Ayrton Senna)

Erm...are you by any chance a Raikkonen fan?? tongue.gif
I think Kimi is very good, and Ferrari has again a winning able car. So the possibilities are there...

This year there are many more candidates for the title: Kimi, Massa, Nick, Hamilton minus Fernando. Still long way to go..

Stroker, I still do not see Heidfeld challenging with his BMW. He will score his first win and be near the top all season, but I still think the BMW is a level behind the Ferrari and McLaren.

Nick & Kubica "may not" be fighting for the championship this year (but who know?). But they are "the factors" who will be the champion this year. If McLaren cars are consistent this year, I wouldn't back Kimi will win the championship that easy. Once the pressure is on, it'll be till the last race only then we know who are the champion.

Last year, Hamilton or Alonso should have won the championship if they are working as a team. rolleyes.gif

I think Massa can take it again, but between the two mclarens i think heikki has more probability of winning. but i've only seen quali so let's just see what happens on the race.

FORZA FERRARI!

This looks like the closest Ferrari and Mclaren have been in a while, and BMW look a bit behind. I think Today's race could be anyones, i'm cheering for Heikki!!!

To consider Kevin Schwantz an equal rider to Rainey, Doohan and Lawson is to overrate him. His entertainment value, popularity and legendary status can be compared (and is arguably superior) to those he rode against, but he achieved significantly less on the track.

According to Mclaren Lewis is a tyre eater so he had to do 3 stops to be competative.

Hmm..

Prior to his title winning season, and some of that too actually, Kimi has horrible consistency problems. Mainly due to mechanical problems admitted, and because of that I aren't throwing in the towel yet. Techincally, the McLaren is far more consistent than the Ferarri. I think we all know Kimi is the best driver at the moment, but will the Ferarri keep it up? Debatable...

Kimi had loads of consistency problems last year, practically every time he didn't have a problem he won the race though.

Kimmi is having consistency problem evey year since his year with Sauber Petronas, McLaren and last year with Ferrari..As I remember, his car always broke down bcoz his driving style....He is very lucky to drive for Mc laren & now forFerrari and having Massa as his team mate wink.gif He is winning on other bad luck (Massa), quarrel (Hamilton&Alonso) and the best car (Ferrari). dry.gif He is not par with Alonso or even with rookie Hamilton.. biggrin.gif

Don't make it look like I'm standing up for Kimi laugh.gif
I'm a Hamilton fan through and through, and if it wasn't for Alonso's arrogance and utter nob head-ness he would be at the top this year too.
But imo, to win a title and always be near the top despite his consistency problems, you have to say that Raikonnen is the best in Forumla 1 at the moment.

Because drving around for 7th each weekend in a mid pack car is arrogant??? Should he be parked in front of Kimi so that Lewis has a chance? rolleyes.gif

No, if it wasn't for his arrogance and unsportsmanship he would still have a McLaren drive...
