Just heard it on Sky News this moment, apparently the bike seized during practice at a cross section.

Robbie Dunlop, brother of Ulster Motorcycling legend Joey has, sadly, been killed in practice for the North West 200 Championships near Portrush, County Antrim. Another rider, Darren Burns, was injured when his bike hit Robbie , whose bike seized, doing around 160mph. just heard this tragic news
-------------------- To consider Tom to be as knowledgeable as Jumkie, Rog or Pete is to overate him. His comedy value and ability to talk about being an engineer can be compared (and is argueably superior) to Pinky, but he would have achieved considerably less without Google.

Very very sad, but thats racing. Live by the sword die by the sword. Road racing places you in grave danger but, The crash could of happened anywhere in the world ! He slid straight down the road and was hit by another rider. |
