"I would like Nicky in return." What a joke. Does Monitron understand that Nicky's contract is to expire at the end of this season so ultimately the decision will be Nicky's and not HRC's? That team has been the most mismanaged team Honda has fielded since they came to MotoGP. Ruining a bright career in Makoto Tamada and nearly doing the same to Nakano. Nicky will be on a Ducati in 2009.

i was of the opinion that hayden would be staying put with HRC, but his showing at Assen, may have hastened his departure. another strong showing on the pneumie and he's a goner. (which I'm slowly getting on board with)
Very interesting,, He and Stoner on the same bike against the competition

Jerry Burgess: "Valentino moved through the field in Barcelona and everyone that he passed got a riding lesson."

"I think that if Casey had raced in the '80s and '90s with Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey and Mick Doohan, he'd have seen that every weekend," the Australian told the official MotoGP website. "It was probably something that he wasn't particularly expecting; [he] probably expected to win the race easily like he'd dominated in the practices."

"Pedrosa put up so little a fight it would have embarrassed a Frenchman"

Are you being sarcastic or are you saying that if he does well HRC will want to get rid of him? huh.gif

I think he's trying to say Hayden's stock will go up and better offers will be made to him?

correct!
seeing how HRC is being run by idiots, the better nick does on the pneumatice engine, the less they will want to keep him, giving him a chance to ride for a real team.

i dont think i'm too high yet, it's still early.

Yes the bike broke, but had it not that woulda been a helluva ride by nick. a couple more good rides and ducati will want him all the more (which is a good thing)

Yeah i just hope they don't try to bullshit Hayden into sticking around another year.....I think seeing the dirt tracker on the Duc would be sick....

I think what he was getting at was that Nicky was disappointed enough with the "showing" of the new pneumo that he might want to look elsewhere.

Some things in life are vastly underrated. Take bacon. It's never destined to be a premiere cut of meat like say an inch thick rib-eye steak or a rack of lamb. But because of its versatility bacon is an amazing meat product.
You can have it for breakfast, lunch and supper. It can perk up almost any dish from pasta to lasagne. It can compliment salads, pizza, stews, chilli, soup, sandwiches or plain leeks – it even smells amazing when being cooked. It short it's cheap, cheerful and amazingly complimentary but totally overlooked.
COLIN EDWARDS......IS bacon.

I am no fan of HRC but seriously, if they thought Hayden could get 2nd in the WC next year on their bike (obviously not first, that's for their chosen one, Pedro) then they'd keep him.

haha true...they want utter world conquest and domination....can't you just imagine an HRC meeting going a lot like the meeting of all the generals in the first Star Wars movie...."this bike is now the ULTIMATE POWER in the UNIVERSE.....and Puig jumps in and says....(in james earl jones voice)...don't be so proooud of this technological terror you've constructed....."

the ability of hayden to win a championship, is insignificant next to the power of the "HRC"

Maybe he could fo fine with a Ducati. His driving style is quite unique, isn't it? Maybe it'd work with Ducati like it works for Stoner?
