Too many different opinions here, just like the real thing - some of the masses want to stop the fastest rider/bike combo - others want a series devilishly fast (well faster than super bikes anyway) and the rules that make your hero go the fastest are indubitably the best, so 18 different sets of rules abound this weekend.

Hard to make a decision and stick to it.

Go back to the 990's,and yes, they had TC.Keep tire rules the same.No fuel limit. If you want to carry the extra 7 lbs for an extra gallon, have at it.Add 2-3 more races and not have the insanely long layoffs,Out of sight, out of mind.If some one is faster than you, tough shit, hire his fucking technical team or simply go faster. There, that would do it for me.

everything else open.

if you can figure out how to use a radial 12cyl stunt plane engine then go for it... laugh.gif

Oh and all riders to look good.
Failing good looks they must have good sense of humour and showmanship.

That pretty much eliminates Pedrosa biggrin.gif

roll displacement back to 990cc.

Roll fuel all the way back to 24 liters.

Minimum rider weight = 60kg. With 990s a weight rule is pointless, but I suspect it will eliminate Pedrosa. laugh.gif

It doesn't matter if you have TC, or GPS, or any other gadget b/c there is massive power at every rev range. Riders don't need to rely on electronics b/c electronics can't point-and-shoot cool.gif

At least, not yet. rolleyes.gif

--------------------
Next DORNA rule: Rider minimum weight = 60kg. If Ezy thinks I'm going to idolize a 5' emaciated horse jockey he's sadly mistaken. Enough broken bones and sunken in faces, this is getting disgusting.

Reminds me of what a guy told me once.I was young and had just started a new job and was trying to find out what click i was going to fall in.The subject of getting high came up and i asked this guy if he got high and he says "Every once in a while, once in the morning and a while in the evening"We became close buds.

Get Vermuelen a bit of laser treatment and a decent haircut and he could ride too.
