OK, I have hundreds of music CD's. The one I listen to (while driving in the car) about once every two weeks is Janes Addiction "Ritual De Lo Habitual". The disk I bought brand new in 1990 is still scratch free (other than a few fingerprints) so I take very good care of my shit.

So I decided to start working on the campaine in GTA4 since I'm only a couple missions in. Now it wont play longer than a few minutes till I get the dirty disk error.

So I pop it open to look at the disk and there is scratch at a curved slash looking like what ever holds lazer did it as it was doing its thing. So I make sure there is no dust on the rest of the disk and put it back in. Samething happends, and when I pop it out there is a new scratch at a wierd angle blowup.gif
Samething happend with forza2 but I did drop that so I thought that was the reason.

Anyone have this happen?

Where is my hammer?

The 360 has been known to eat discs. I would contact Microsoft, they might have a disc replacement scheme, I guess first party titles only, and tell them what the console's doing.

"I think that if Casey had raced in the '80s and '90s with Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey and Mick Doohan, he'd have seen that every weekend," the Australian told the official MotoGP website. "It was probably something that he wasn't particularly expecting; [he] probably expected to win the race easily like he'd dominated in the practices."

I know its damn video game, just in my current situation, $60 hurts. So I popped out Mothers 3 phase car polish. After 15mins I'm good to go (it works now) till the 360 dose it again. Than I'll throw it in the yard and bring out mower.

Not one yet. Still have 1 year left out of the three for Three Rings Of Death.

With how much I use it compaired to my computers (one messed up mac and 2 pc's), it has held up very well (except for munching two games).
