That bout sums it up laugh.gif

--------------------
Jerry Burgess: "Valentino moved through the field in Barcelona and everyone that he passed got a riding lesson."

"I think that if Casey had raced in the '80s and '90s with Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey and Mick Doohan, he'd have seen that every weekend," the Australian told the official MotoGP website. "It was probably something that he wasn't particularly expecting; [he] probably expected to win the race easily like he'd dominated in the practices."

"Pedrosa put up so little a fight it would have embarrassed a Frenchman"

I was really looking foward to this thinking its gonna be a great racing sim but its not, the handling is so arcadey and the vehicle damage is poor.

Why Codemasters, why?

Ask the FOM on why they are giving them the F1 video game contract?

Picked it up yesterday cos it's cheap for me. First impressions, nice eye candy but so arcady to play and most are street races and end up wrecking the car more than completing the race. If Codemasters had brought it up to Forza's level in that dept it may have been a contender.

For a quick race it has some other modes, Destruction Derby, Single seaters, Touring cars with tracks such as Donny and the mighty SPA.

Biggest disappointment for me so far in 08.

I quite like it.

It's not Forza 2 - but it's not supposed to be. It's an arcade racer and it does it very well. it's about 1000x better than the likes of ridge racer or burnout or need for speed or any of that bollocks.

If you imagine TOCA 2 (but better) you'd be some way there. Visually it's very good. It's fast and furious if not terribly realistic. But if you take it as it is - you won't be dissapointed.

Easy Achievements too. cool.gif

I got the game, online play sucks because theres no enough authentic track racing.

Avoid the earley wrecks and you have a chance to win... hardly inspiring.
