Hello - I am new here but a big Moto GP fan. I am trying to write a paper around Moto GP and am probably being a dill but I can't find stats around crashes and wet race performance. Can anyone direct me to a website that has this? The official site has lots of info but I can't see crash stats or wet race performance by rider. Help! Cheers JR

best thing i can think of is go season by seaon race by race in the results section and look at the results and determine if they were rain or dry then off of that construct a grid or chart and gather all your data from there.

i cant think of any official or even non offical place where such stats are available. captain snows idea of watch as many past races as poss and compile your own stats is good. toby and jewls always seem to have these anorak stats to hand, try emailing them, and before you ask,,why would i have those tossers email; address laugh.gif laugh.gif

If you can't find stats, do you think your teachers will take the time to find them. laugh.gif

Make it up. Keep in mind the best lies are based in truth, so keep your data relatively scientific.

Next DORNA rule: Rider minimum weight = 60kg. If Ezy thinks I'm going to idolize a 5' emaciated horse jockey he's sadly mistaken. Enough broken bones and sunken in faces, this is getting disgusting.

Sadly it is not free but it is the best for stats I can think. And it will tell you real quickly which riders had DNFs at which race since 1985 wink.gif

Hello all - and thanks for the advice. I have noticed the commentators do have this stuff - so it must be somewhere - I think I will ask them. Cheers JR
