Hi everybody!!
I've been looking for a place where one could have a good, spirited discussion about Moto Grand-Prix without being immediately swamped by fantrolls of this or that rider/team, and still have a laugh. You know: Adult fun, for the living room! Hope PS.net fits the bill. I've been avidly following all three classes since 1998 (from Germany 1997, to be precise) and, although I've had a few "favorites" and my allegiance have changed from time to time, I have the utmost respect for all riders (with perhaps one or two notable exceptions that will remain unnamed) and their skills. I also think they're nutters!! Bless'em. So, despite having a limited knowledge of the sport's history (in contrast I've been watching F1 for 30 years) and witness only the twilight years of the "500" - oh, but what years -, I believe I can hold my own talking about contemporary MotoGP racing. Looking forward the rest of the season and some good ol'chatter. Oh, and I don't ride... a motorcycle, anyway. |

![]() welcome -------------------- Jerry Burgess: "Valentino moved through the field in Barcelona and everyone that he passed got a riding lesson."
"I think that if Casey had raced in the '80s and '90s with Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey and Mick Doohan, he'd have seen that every weekend," the Australian told the official MotoGP website. "It was probably something that he wasn't particularly expecting; [he] probably expected to win the race easily like he'd dominated in the practices." "Pedrosa put up so little a fight it would have embarrassed a Frenchman" |
