I don't know what's going to happen this far out, but if it rains at LeMans, this championship will be turned on its head.

The tyre war is very close, i think even when one is better than the other its not in a major way like last year and if your good enough you could be on the podium either way.
I think it will be between Lorenzo and Pedrosa with Rossi and Stoner chomping at the bit. -------------------- Riding a race bike is an art - a thing that you do because you feel something inside.

I think it will be between Lorenzo and Pedrosa with Rossi and Stoner chomping at the bit. Looks like a lot of rain from now till the next race. I really thought this race was going ot be wet but I'm glad it wasn't So far to me it seems like the championship is going to come down to Rossi and Pedrosa. Pedrosa has really shown he can ride well in the wet and he's fast in a dry race and qualifying. Lorenzo is also Rossi's and Pedorsa equal in qualifying and the dry but for sure he will struggle in wet races and give up chunks of points. Stoner will own in the wet, in fact everyone else is racing for second place. But he doesn't seem to have that huge advantage he had last year in the dry, and the jury is still out on how fast he will be. Maybe Shanghai was just improper tire selection, or maybe thats all he had. We'll see what happens for Pedrosa when he gets the pnuematic engine. It may be what he needs to get, and keep his wheel in front of Rossi. |

If its dry i think it's Lorenzoland. If Rossi wins it the others will be forced to worry a lot.
-------------------- To consider Kevin Schwantz an equal rider to Rainey, Doohan and Lawson is to overrate him. His entertainment value, popularity and legendary status can be compared (and is arguably superior) to those he rode against, but he achieved significantly less on the track.

Valentino Rossi, who else ???...
Rain or dry, sunshine or wet, he'll get his victory again. He's got his love affair with his M1-B'stone. And Le Mans is Michelin's homeland. I wonder what's on Jean-Phillipe Weber's mind if Rossi wins the race. Rossi must be eager to prove to Michelin that he doesn't make a mistake. At least I expect close-quarter battle... Dry: 1. Rossi 2. Pedrosa 3. Stoner Wet: 1. Rossi 2. Stoner 3. Pedrosa Where's Jorge? At least I think he still can get into top 5. -------------------- VALENTINO, THE BIKE LOVES YOU !

Rossi hasn't even ridden a wet race on bridgestones. Stoner blitzed the field at Shanghai on Sunday warm up in the wet.

rossi had extremly good pace in china if that follows throuh to france then others will have a hard time beating him , in china he just slamed the hammer down at the end and i think he could of pushed it harder if need be.
it looks like hes findind his feet with the stones i noticed he kept the more agressive riding till the end not shreding the tyre in the first half like he has done in other races. if its wet then who knows i just hope this win builds his confidence. |

1. Pedrosa
2. Rossi 3. Lorenzo I'm not sure in what kind of shape Lorenzo will be in France, today doctors said it's worse than it was diagnosed in China. So maybe I's say Stoner instead of him. |

Lorenzo top 3 every round, except perhaps if it is wet (this year). Well, I don't underestimate him. But he is down injured, isn't he? Maybe he needs about 1 month to fully recover -------------------- VALENTINO, THE BIKE LOVES YOU !

Well, I don't underestimate him. But he is down injured, isn't he? Maybe he needs about 1 month to fully recover It doesn't sound too bad to me. If he had a high grade talar dome fracture he would have required an arthroscopy which would put him out for several weeks, but this does not seem to be the case. The main problem with such fractures is the pain they cause, which he seems to cope with fairly well. |

1.) Hopkins 2.) Hayden 3.) Edwards Why not What a corking season we seem to have unfurling in front of our eyes. Le Mans can't get here soon enough! It looks to me like Valentino is finally...........finally back to being the fully focussed old bean we came to expect from him as a World Champion. I still believe he lost focus in 2006, and perhaps the arse kicking everybody took from Casey in 2007 shook him into life again. Valentino's performance in China was vintage Rossi, pure class. For me, this performance puts a whole new outlook on the season. I did have George Lawrence as the man to beat this year, eventually winning the war of minds over an equally impressive Pedrosa thus far. But if Valentino is truly back, then I think the old dog may have enough tricks up his sleeve to deal with the pair of them! My predictions for Le Mans,....the same as every other GP (Except Laguna where Nicky will return!!!) Those 3 on the podium, in some order. As for Casey, well something isn't quite as perfect as it was last year. If they can find out what it is, then who knows. There's a long way to go yet. Love to all!!!! -------------------- www.davidburk.net
