I'm starting this up early because I'm not entirely sure how the times work out, and because it's my thing. tongue.gif

Let's hope the racing at the end of it is as good as the WSS race at Assen. tongue.gif

Not likely, all 3 forecast I've checked show rain on sunday.

Doesn't look good for Pedrosa and Lorenzo to come out of this weekend with the points lead. Most likely Stoner or Rossi.

Nick doesn't stand a chance in the rain. He's not a half bad wet rider, but he can't ride with TC on so he bins it. mellow.gif

Maybe this year will be different?

What does everyone make of this? Dovi says he's going to China with a new bike. Did I miss something? Honda already letting the customers have the 08?

Where does this article say he is getting THE new equipment huh.gif

It just says, a new bike. Not the 2008 Repsol spec RC212V.

Um....which is exactly what I said, he said he's getting a new bike, and all the little curly things with the dot at the bottom.... yeah, those mean I'm asking a question or in other words making an inquiry, not making a statement. That means I'm not sure what the comment he made meant, I'm asking here trying to find out.

I don't think I could have made it more clear.

If Dovi does get an 08 bike then Nicky will be under pressure right away.

To consider Kevin Schwantz an equal rider to Rainey, Doohan and Lawson is to overrate him. His entertainment value, popularity and legendary status can be compared (and is arguably superior) to those he rode against, but he achieved significantly less on the track.

My two favorite riders are relatively weak in the rain, and ride Michelins. Their two main competitors are relatively good in the wet and ride the right tyres. I hope its dry.

As well as I want Toseland to do I've noticed his wet times haven't been at the sharp end during testing and this season so far.

Let's finally get this elusive win then Rossi!

Dovi can keep riding the 07 bike and Nicky would still be under pressure from him....

If Dovi is getting new parts/bike then Nicky needs to be finding his new 09 team now...

Where do people get this notion from?

Yes he was slowest in the wet Estoril free practices, but if you looked at the IRTA test times in the wet, he was still right up there in fifth.

Would be interesting to have a wet race to see where everyone is standing. I would bet on Vermeulen. Rossi should be good too, and maybe West will be on the opposite side of the grid for once.
I don't think Dani will struggle particularly, no idea what Lorenzo can do in those conditions.

If it stays dry then the usual suspects will be up there, Dani, Lorenzo, Rossi and Stoner and no one else.

Stoner will win if it is wet. Not so sure if it is dry.

Do you think they are giving Pedrosa some underachieving shit? Ever?

Flush out your headgear. Wake up and smell the reality Teo & Drumfu. All that preference and he’s riding the #2 as if it means something.
