Hello all,
I have recieved an email from Dorna, the people who own the rights to motoGP regarding copyright issues. Please could everyone refrain from hyperlinking images from motoGP.com and attaching images that have been saved from motogp.com. I have been guilty of this myself & hold my hand up. I am looking at the best way to stop hyperlinking images to motoGP.com automatically, but I'm sure all our current members will understand........we dont want to get shut down! If your linking any images, check the sites copyright notice for claification.

I mean, if they didn’t want the publicity it wouldn’t be just ‘one click’ to be downloaded, would it? I also don’t understand it completely, because every time they're used means much more publicity for them, after all most people that sees them end up accessing their website if they hadn’t before… which leads to sponsors having a much wider audience. Anyway, if it’s the law that says ‘No’ it’s ok with me. PS. Damn! A picture says more than 1,000 words! Oh well we'll need a couple of 'Jumkie like' essays... (Just joking 'amigo').

Theres a difference between using for personal use and using publically. The the material on motogp.com is subject to copyright - so none can be reproduced and posted here I'm afriad. Linking to pages/images/PDF's is fine, just not hosting them here. -------------------- Add me on:

I use to run a bike website and we had this problem, the news I got from crash.net was that as long as you included "image from crash.net" they were pretty happy with it.
